About Me
My name is Allie Breyer (she/her). I am a passionate, creative, and accomplished public-sector communicator with over a decade of experience in private, government, and nonprofit settings. I am skilled in plain-language writing, public speaking, public engagement, social media, digital marketing & communications, project management, website design and administration, and strategic planning. I also thrive in settings where I can teach and mentor others; throughout my career, I’ve provided a variety of workshops and trainings for staff and community partners.
I am currently a Senior Associate at EnviroIssues, where I use my expertise, creativity, and passion for effective communication and outreach to support public-sector clients.
Additionally, I am an Adjunct Professor at Vermont State University, where I teach a Media, Society, and Communication Course and work to inspire the next generation of communications professionals.
I am driven by my core values of community, creativity, and collaboration. Learn more about my community and advocacy work.
I reside as a guest on unceded Coast Salish ancestral land of the Duwamish, Suquamish, Stillaguamish, and Muckleshoot People. Yet, we must go beyond land acknowledgments to support Indigenous people and nations with our actions. Learn more from the Native Governance Center’s Beyond Land Acknowledgment Guide.
